[Romila's] words are like a rollercoaster. The longer I read the faster the ride goes.
Don - South California -
Romila’s presence on social media is like having Sophia Loren arrive unannounced to your chill-thrill cookout. You didn’t know she knew you and someone of such great, groovy stature giving your tribe genuine interest is the juice that burns bright the daylight hours.
King Stimie - North California -
Romila makes me jealous - of her writing, her travels, her smile, all that hair… I'm afraid if I write any more it would just encourage her; and who needs the competition?
Joe Friend - Brooklyn, NY -
Romila's writing is effortless, emotive and fluent. I wish I could read her stuff for the first time everyday.
Nathan Lawrence - Byron Bay, Australia -
[Romila's] words sound as though they smoke cigarettes on quiet nights.
Elaine Taurai - Newark, NJ -
Romila invokes this unheard-of possibility with simply the sheer texture of her words; that there are truly beautiful minds out there with unimaginable hearts, that carry the ability to turn a person’s aspirations into reality and forgotten dreams into possibilities of tomorrow. She’s one of a kind.
Francis Kabisoso - Hamilton, ON -
Romila infuses her writing with the joy that comes to those who choose to get lost, to never be found. She is able to communicate that joy through the written word - through her writing, places never seen come roaring to life in color and sound.
Justin Porter - New York City, NY -
If you want to see life as something new, to see it in such a way as you’ve never imagined, to have your eyes opened just a little wider, you’ve come to the right place. Romila's writing - read it in all it’s passion, all it’s faults and all it’s wonders. You will find something new and beautiful in her words.

Teams I've Worked With
Words from some awesome human beings
Julian Bialowas
16HOURS, Founder
I could sum Romila up in one word: Passionate. Passionate about producing exceptional work, perfecting her many talents, and mastering her craft. She embodies the idea of “loving what you do” and it shows—she lives and breathes writing. I have yet to meet another wordsmith who can produce such quality work under such short deadlines with such ease. Romila brings an unparalleled energy to every project she approaches and it never fades. Where most people crumble under the pressure she excels and keeps the team strong.

Reky Martha
The hoshiZora Foundation, Co-founder
Romila’s first work with me and The hoshiZora Foundation in Vancouver was so outstanding, I was determined to have her in Indonesia to join the team in the field. Best decision ever!
She is creative, passionate, and dedicated! She worked very effectively that within her arrival in Indonesia in two days, she managed to build a partnerships with a few major organizations. Working at the headquarter office; she was able to lead by example other local team members on how to carry international standard of professionalism, increase work quality, and increase motivation and enthusiasm to work for children. With her creativity, she was able to revamp the foundation’s social media and reached out to larger market, beyond expectations. Her initiative to write the lives of the children sponsored in Borneo (and her extremely engaging writing) excellently highlighted the success of the foundation in 2012.
She’s got it all and I love working with her!
